Executive Officers
Edward Coll
President of Phoenix Bulk Carriers, US
Prior to co-founding Bulk Partners in 1996, Mr. Coll spent 10 years at Continental Grain Company with assignments in New York, New Orleans, Rome and Rotterdam. He joined Commodity Ocean Transport Corp (COTCO) in 1989 and became president of the company in 1993. In this position, Mr. Coll was responsible for the overall activities and businesses of three U.S public shipping companies.
Mr. Coll is an elected member of the American Bureau of Shipping and has considerable expertise in the worldwide shipping and commodities markets and lectures regularly on these topics. He holds a B.S. in nautical science from the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point and a master's degree in international business from Pace University.
Claus Boggild
President of Phoenix Bulk Carriers, Brasil
Prior to joining Bulk, Mr. Boggild was Director of Chartering and Operations at the Korf Group of Germany. He also was a partner at Trasafra Ltd, a Brazilian agent for the largest independent grain parcel operator from Argentina and Brazil to Europe. He worked for Hudson Trading and Chartering where he was responsible for Brazilian related transportation services. As President of Commodity Ocean Transport Corporation (COTCO) he was responsible for the operations of its affiliate Handy Bulk Carriers Corporation. Prior to becoming President of COTCO, Mr. Boggild was an Executive Vice President and was responsible for its Latin American operations. Mr. Boggild holds a diploma in International Maritime Law.
Peter Koken
Vice President of Phoenix Bulk Carriers, US
Mr. Koken specializes in trading handymax and supramax vessels and has extensive chartering experience in the dry bulk trades. He served for many years as President of J. Lauritzen, USA, as Vice President of Lauritzen Bulkers, Copenhagen and was Chartering Manager for J. Lauritzen, Canada. Mr. Koken attended the Canadian Institute of Management studies at McGill University in Montreal, Canada and holds a certificate of studies in Management and Commerce INSEAD, Fontainebleau, Cedex, France.
Dieter Greulich
Manager, Special Projects and Fleet Operations
Mr. Greulich joined Phoenix Bulk in 1996. He has been engaged in the business of ocean transportation since the early 1970's and has served on management teams of the Navibel Group, Horizon Shipping & Trading Corp., New England Maritime Services & Consultants as well as Commodity Ocean Transport Corporation (COTCO).
Mr. Greulich holds degrees in International Business and Ocean Commerce and Transportation from the Academy of Trade and Transport, Hamburg, Germany.
